ABOUT US

Originally established in 1913, our Scouting units have seen it all—through generations of service, adventure, and growth, we’ve remained dedicated to shaping youth into capable, compassionate leaders. Today, we proudly charter both a Pack and a Linked Troop (Boys and Girls), continuing a rich tradition of Scouting excellence in Papillion, Nebraska.

Our units are chartered by Sarpy County VFW Post 9675, an organization that shares our core values of patriotism, service, and community engagement. Together, we are committed to fostering character development, responsible citizenship, and physical and mental fitness in the next generation.

Through a robust and inclusive program, our Scouts gain hands-on experience in leadership, outdoor skills, and personal growth. From mastering knots and building campfires to serving the community and earning merit badges, Scouting provides opportunities that build confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships.

Unlike school-affiliated programs, our units operate independently as stand-alone entities, open to youth and families throughout the community. We welcome all who seek adventure, leadership, and a sense of belonging.

We maintain an extremely active year-round calendar, highlighted by a comprehensive outdoor program that is both fun and challenging. Whether it’s weekend campouts, summer adventures, Pinewood Derbies, service projects, or leadership activities, there is always something meaningful happening in our scouting family.

Over a century strong and still blazing the trail—come see what Scouting with us is all about!
