Eagle Scout candidate Caleb Lee took on a meaningful and much-needed improvement project at Sarpy County VFW Post 9675, focusing on the remodel of the dropped ceiling and light fixtures within the post’s breezeway.

Over time, the breezeway—used frequently by veterans, families, and community members—had seen significant wear. Caleb’s project involved removing and replacing the aging ceiling tiles and updating the lighting system to provide brighter, more energy-efficient illumination. These improvements not only enhanced the appearance of the space but also increased safety and visibility for those passing through.

Through careful planning and hands-on leadership, Caleb’s work helped refresh a high-traffic area that serves as both a passageway and gathering spot for post events. His project reflects the heart of Scouting: serving others, improving community spaces, and leaving things better than he found them.
