Eagle Scout candidate Sytarah Lively led a transformative project at Sarpy County VFW Post 9675, focusing on the complete remodel of the post’s electrical system and lighting—a critical improvement for the functionality and atmosphere of the building’s main gathering space.

The project involved coordinating a full electrical overhaul, including updated wiring and the installation of modern, energy-efficient lighting to better serve the veterans, guests, and community members who rely on the space for events, meetings, and ceremonies.

In addition to the electrical work, Sytarah also led the repainting of the ceiling, which helped to brighten the entire room and elevate the overall look and feel of the space. The result is a safer, more welcoming environment that reflects both respect for the post’s legacy and a commitment to its future.

Sytarah’s project showcases the leadership, vision, and service central to the Eagle Scout experience—leaving behind a meaningful and lasting impact on a place that means so much to those who have served.
