Eagle Scout candidate Teo Nilson coordinated and led the construction of new storage solutions for Papillion South High School’s band instruments—a critical upgrade for a program that serves dozens of student musicians each year.

The project began with the demolition of the existing storage units, which had become outdated and inefficient. In their place, Teo and his team built stronger, more organized shelving systems designed to better accommodate the size, shape, and weight of various instruments.

Beyond the shelves themselves, the project also included improved access and layout design, helping students and staff move equipment more easily and safely—especially during busy rehearsal and performance seasons.

By creating a more functional and lasting storage system, Teo’s work supports both the practical needs and creative spirit of the band program. His project reflects the leadership, planning, and service at the heart of the Eagle Scout experience—and leaves a lasting impact for future generations of student musicians.
